Jeremy Tiffin, President & Managing Director, is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of Horizon Recruitment. Jeremy cofounded Horizon in 2007 after 9 years in various sales and recruitment roles specific to the accounting & finance and supply chain sectors. Jeremy has led the growth and expansion of Horizon Recruitment from a one-person operation to the national recruitment firm it is today. He has always wanted to create an organization that made a difference in people lives, a place that expects a lot but also gives a lot.
Jeremy graduated from BCIT in 1997 but continues to have strong ties to the institute and sits on the Program Advisory Council for the Marketing Management Program. He was a recipient of Business in Vancouver’s Forty under 40 awards in 2014. Jeremy is also currently the President of AAFA (the American Association of Finance and Accounting), an international group of 45 specialized accounting & finance recruitment firms across Canada and the USA. He is also the Executive Director of a not-for-profit industry advocacy group called S.C.E.N.E. (Supply Chain Executives Networking Exchange) which he founded in 2013.
Jeremy is married with two children and lives in North Vancouver. When Jeremy isn’t driving the kids to activities, he’s either scheming about something to build around the house, wishing he could play more golf or hitting the gym.
