Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a recruit for a large-scale client working on major capital projects. Due to ongoing workload and a number of growing capacity demands our client has an immediate need for a Contracts Administrator on a 1 year renewable contract engagement. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced contracts department within a capital project environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior procurement and contract personnel to ensure documentation is processed in accordance with policy and procedural requirements
- Pay invoices related to items procured
- Liaise with project teams on deadlines and deliverables
- Ensure accurate contract change orders are handled in an expedient manner
Requirements:
- 3 years of administration experience within a large-scale organization with complex systems and processes
- Industrial construction experience is preferred
- Knowledge of contract administration
- Experience with financial reconciliations, project reporting, and project tracking
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders
Rewards:
- $35-40/hr target rate
