Horizon Recruitment Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting and Special Projects for one of our Lower Mainland clients with international reach. Being part of the fund accounting team, this role will be an excellent opportunity for someone to stretch themselves with projects outside of traditional accounting duties and take ownership on various special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide fund-related information to internal and external clients, ensuring its accuracy and timely delivery
- Ensure all stakeholder queries are answered on a timely basis
- Manage small and large-scale projects aimed at improving and streamlining business processes
- Work with IT developers to ensure that the necessary tools are available to address risk of errors and to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes.
Requirements:
- Accounting designation with preference to public practice experience (CPA)
- A history of outstanding performance in all areas including education and public practice
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to solve problems in a creative manner
- Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with internal teams and external providers
- Self-motivated, innovative and target driven
Rewards:
- $90,000-100,000
