In March 2019 Horizon Recruitment Inc. announced it had come to an agreement to acquired Red Recruitment which was founded in Calgary, Alberta in 2011. Horizon Recruitment now has a national presence in it’s specialized supply chain and accounting & finance recruitment markets. Horizon Recruitment Inc. offers an unrivaled presence and team of expert financial and supply chain recruiters across the country.

The Calgary office will be supported by Danielle Heartz, Recruitment Consultant and Tyler Blum, Recruitment Associate in the Finance recruitment division. Philip Mandic, Account Representative will continue to support our Supply Chain recruitment division.

Horizon Recruitment Inc. Acquires Red Recruitment

We are excited to announce the acquisition of Red Recruitment in Calgary, Alberta. Horizon Recruitment Inc. officially completed the transaction on March 4, 2019.

Horizon Recruitment Inc. was founded in 2007 and has been operating in Alberta since 2011. The acquisition of Red Recruitment will embed our position as a key market player with exceptional candidate and client relationships across Western Canada. The acquisition will further allow us to realize the economies of scale of the significant investments we’ve made in our people, processes and technologies during the last 12 years. This acquisition also moves us closer to our goal of building a national brand that leads the supply chain and accounting & finance recruitment markets.

Red Recruitment shares the same values, culture and goals we do. We conducted an extensive search within our region looking for an opportunity like this. Red Recruitment exceeded our hopes for a firm we can combine with and continue the tradition we have for creating engaging, effective and empowering experiences.

The new offices in Calgary will also allow Horizon Recruitment Inc. to deploy our highly skilled supply chain recruitment team along side the existing accounting & finance recruitment operation immediately. Horizon Recruitment Inc will also continue to hire and invest in additional team members to service Alberta in the coming months.

A few things we want to point out that will not change:

You will continue to work with the same people at both firms that you have in the past. All of our people are being retained in their current roles.
The same services we have provided you in the past will continue, only better.
Our existing phone numbers will continue to be the ones you will use to contact us.
