Horizon Recruitment Inc. is looking for a Manager, Warehousing and Distribution to lead all warehousing, logistics, inventory control, and customs operations for a large organization's BC facilities. The successful candidate will manage a large team of warehouse professionals—including Supervisors and Team Leads—driving operational excellence, safety, and compliance. This includes overseeing domestic and international shipments, maintaining accurate inventory systems, and implementing scalable processes to support growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership to all Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leads, and Team members, overseeing regular performance reviews and providing support to maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Manage end-to-end warehouse functions and monitor warehouse performance metrics, conduct monthly reviews, and drive operational improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Assist in the development, training, and adherence of the department policies & standards.
• Oversee daily performance and KPI's achievement for the warehouse facility.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Supervisors, Leads and staff and oversee
• Optimize inbound and outbound product flows; enhance layout, workflow, and space utilization.
• Champion lean practices, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across all warehouse functions.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking and traceability using WMS and RF scanning tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain leadership.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations Management preferred.
• Proven success leading high-volume warehouse operations in a distribution environment.
• Strong people management skills and experience developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with warehouse systems (WMS), RF technology, and data analysis tools.
• Deep understanding of inventory control and material handling best practices.
• Strong communication skills, including an aptitude for effective leadership and people management.

Rewards:

• $150,000 - $170,000
