Horizon Recruitment Inc. has an immediate need for a Junior Accountant to help support our large, publicly traded client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a large organization with lots of opportunity for growth as you complete your CPA.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounts payable, processing payments under strict deadlines
- Prepare and enter journal entries, and perform bank and inter company reconciliations
- Assist with year-end working papers
- Month-end reporting as required
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of junior accounting experience
- CPA student or interest in enrolling in the program
- Thorough knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach to managing projects & issues
- Someone who takes pride in their work with strong attention to detail
Rewards:
- $55,000 - $60,000
